Notice of Garden Leave
We write to provide you with written notice that we intend to exercise our right to place you on garden leave. You may already be aware that garden leave refers to the situation where an employer sends an employee home on full pay during their notice period. During garden leave, an employee will remain employed by their employer. We are placing you on garden leave in accordance with the terms of your contract of employment. The relevant clauses are: ________
With effect from ________ until further notice, you will not be required to attend your place of work: ________. This period shall be referred to hereafter as the period of 'Garden Leave'. During the period of Garden Leave, in accordance with the relevant provisions:
(1). As well as not attending your place of work, you also must not attend the following locations:

(3). You will not be entitled to receive any bonuses or commission. We have agreed that you will receive an ex-gratia payment of £________ in place of any bonuses or commission during the period of Garden Leave.

(8). If you do not take all of your accrued, unused annual leave, you will be deemed to have taken this. You will not be entitled to payment in lieu of holiday entitlement upon the termination of your employment with us.
