Re: Confirmation of Successful Completion of Probationary Period

Dear ________,

§ 1. Purpose of this Letter. We are pleased to write to confirm that you have successfully completed the probationary period applicable to your employment in the position of ________ with ________ (the “Employer”). This letter is intended to record that confirmation and to reiterate the continuing terms of your employment.

§ 2. Probationary Period. Your probationary period commenced on ________ and concluded on ________. Based on a review of your performance, your qualifications, skills and conduct in the role of ________ have been assessed as satisfactory and merit your continued employment with the Employer.

§ 3. Continuation of Employment. The Employer is pleased to confirm the continuation of your employment, effective ________. Your employment will continue on an indefinite basis, subject to the terms and conditions described in this letter and in your written employment agreement.

§ 4. Governing Employment Agreement. The written employment agreement that you executed on ________ (the “Employment Agreement”) remains in full force and effect and continues to govern the terms and conditions of your employment, including those relating to position, hours of work, compensation, benefits, confidentiality, and termination, except as expressly modified in writing. In the event of any inconsistency between this letter and the Employment Agreement, the Employment Agreement shall prevail.
