Obligatory Force of the Contract.  Pursuant to Article 1159 of the Civil Code of the Philippines (Republic Act No. 386), obligations arising from contracts have the force of law between the contracting parties and must be complied with in good faith. Under Article 1306 of the same Code, the parties are bound by the stipulations, clauses, terms and conditions they have established, the same not being contrary to law, morals, good customs, public order, or public policy.
