We write in our capacity as counsel for and on behalf of ________ (hereinafter referred to as our \that contractual agreement denominated as ________, executed on ________ (hereinafter referred to as the “Contract”), the principal object and consideration of which are described as follows:

Obligatory Force of the Contract.  Pursuant to Article 1159 of the Civil Code of the Philippines (Republic Act No. 386), obligations arising from contracts have the force of law between the contracting parties and must be complied with in good faith.
