Employer and Employee recognise this agreement as reasonable, legally valid and enforceable and commit to observing their respective obligations articulated herein.


Article 1: Commencement and Term

1.1. The Employee will commence part time employment with ________ on ________.

2.3. In addition to the specific duties enumerated in this agreement, the Employee agrees to perform any additional tasks and functions requested of them by the Employer where reasonable and practicable.

2.4. The Employee agrees to act in accordance with the terms of conditions of employment laid out in this Agreement, the Employer's workplace policies, procedures and regulations. Details of these policies will be furnished to the Employee upon request.

2.5. The Employee undertakes to perform the all tasks and duties of employment to the best of their ability and apply their full time and attention to their work during working hours.


Article 3: Place of Work

3.1. The Employee's designated Place of Work will be at the ________ offices at the following location:

3.2. The Employee is entitled to request the option of remote work upon the successful completion of six months employment with ________. A formal request stating the reasons why remote working is being requested, the number of days per week the Employee wishes to work remotely must be furnished to the Employer. The Employer will duly consider the request in contemplation of the Employee's unique circumstances and the commercial viability of a remote working arrangement. A decision will be issued to the Employee within one month of the request's receipt.


Article 4: Employee Remuneration

4.1. The Employee in exchange for services rendered in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Contract of Employment shall receive remuneration at the hourly rate of ________ (________) Euro.

This is the Employee's pay reference period under the Minimum Wage and Employment Act.

4.2. The Employee's Remuneration is issued at weekly intervals. The Employer will endeavour to furnish payment on Monday, allowing for a grace period of one working day.

4.3. The Employee is not eligible to work any overtime in line with the Protection of Young Persons in Employment Act 1996.

4.4. The Employee is eligible for a nominal bonus of a maximum of ________ (________) Euro per year. The conditions for the acquisition for the bonus are as follows:

4.6. The Employer will deduct from the Employee's gross income the requisite tax and insurance remittances, as required by law.

Article 5: Hours of Work

5.1. The Employee will work part time between ________ (________) hours and ________ (________) hours per week subject to scheduling.

5.3. Pursuant to the Organisation of Working Time Act, all employee are entitled to the following rest periods:

Article 6: Absences from Work

6.1. Should the Employee be unable to present at work for any reason, be it illness, bereavement or any other extenuating circumstances, they must notify the Employer as follows:

Article 7: Annual Leave

7.1. The Employee is entitled to ________ (________) days of leave per annum, inclusive of statutory leave and contractual leave.

7.2. The Employee's annual leave entitlement is calculated from the Commencement Date above.

7.3. Should the Employee for whatever reason fail to use their annual leave entitlement within the year of its accrual, the unused leave up to the amount of ________ (________) days can be carried over into the following calendar year.

7.4. The Employee must get Employer approval in advance of taking annual leave. A request to take leave on specified dates must be made at least ________ (________) weeks in advance of the intended leave period. While all attempts will be made to accommodate the Employee's request, the Employer reserves the right to decline requests for leave on specific dates where it is deemed commercial necessary.

7.5. Should upon the completion or termination of the Contract of Employment, the Employee have unused statutory leave entitlements, they shall be paid for the value of the unused leave.

7.6. Should the Employee decide to terminate the Contract of Employment, a period of ________ (________) days of unused leave can be used in lieu of notice.


Article 8: Additional Paid Leave

8.1. The Employee is entitled to the following additional paid leave:

8.2. The Employee is entitled to additional, unpaid leave, as required by law.


Article 9: Collective Agreements

9.1. The Employee is entitled to join any trade union of their choosing.

Article 12: Insurance

Article 13: Notice Period

13.2. If the Employee wishes to terminate the Contract of Employment before the conclusion of the employment term, they must provide the Employer with a minimum of ________ (________) weeks notice.

Article 14: Termination of Contract of Employment

Article 15: Disciplinary Process

15.1. The Employee submits to be bound by ________ code of conduct and ethics as described in the following document: ________.

15.2. The Employee commits to performing the tasks and duties of employment in good faith and in compliance with the law.

Article 17: Data Protection

Article 19: Return of Company Property

19.1. Upon the termination of this Contract of Employment, for whatever reason, the Employee undertakes to return to the Employer all property belonging to the Employer that is in the Employee's possession or under their control.

19.2. Such property includes, but is not limited to, equipment, documents, keys, access cards, electronic devices, records, files and any confidential information, whether in physical or electronic form.

19.3. The Employee shall not retain any copies, extracts or reproductions of any such property or confidential information following the termination of their employment.


Article 20: Modification of Agreement

20.1. The 'core terms' of Contract of Employment can only be modified through the consent of both the Employee and Employer. For the purposes of this agreement, 'core terms' include the following:

(a) Commencement Date
(b) Contract duration
(c) Place of Work
(d) Hours of Work
(e) Annual Leave
(f) Pension

20.2. Minor changes to the other terms of this employment contract may be made by the Employer to reflect changes in law, work practices or policies.


Article 21: Declaration
