1.1 The purpose of this notice (the “Notice”) is to formally advise you that material in which I (or the rights holder on whose behalf I act) hold copyright is being reproduced, communicated, made available, or otherwise used without authorization on the website, online location, or electronic service that you own, operate, host, or control, and to demand that you remove or disable access to such material.

1.2 This Notice is delivered in accordance with the Copyright Act, R.S.C. 1985, c. C-42 (the “Act”), and is intended to constitute a notice of claimed infringement under sections 41.25 and 41.26 of the Act. Nothing in this Notice shall be construed as a waiver of, or election among, any rights, remedies, or causes of action available to me at law or in equity, all of which are expressly reserved.

§ 8. Reservation of Rights

8.1 This Notice is delivered without prejudice to, and with full reservation of, all rights and remedies available to me under the Act and otherwise at law or in equity, including the right to claim damages, an accounting of profits, statutory damages, injunctive relief, and costs.

8.2 Should you fail to comply with the demands set out in § 6 within the time stipulated, I reserve the right to pursue all such legal remedies without further notice.
