Re: Notice of Increase in Monthly Rental


Dear ________,

This letter serves as formal written notice, pursuant to the terms of our Contract of Lease dated ________ (the “Lease”) and in accordance with the pertinent provisions of the Civil Code of the Philippines (Republic Act No. 386), particularly Articles 1654, 1657 and 1687, that the monthly rental for the property hereinbelow described shall be increased effective ________.

§ 1. Description of the Leased Premises. The property subject of this notice is more particularly described as follows:

§ 2. Current and New Rental. The current monthly rental for the Leased Premises is ________ (₱________), exclusive of applicable utilities and association dues. Effective ________, the monthly rental shall be increased to ________ (₱________) per month, representing an increase of ________ (₱________), or ________% of the present rental.
