§1. Notice of Cancellation. It is with regret that we hereby formally notify you, pursuant to our contractual undertakings and in accordance with Articles 1159, 1170 and 1305 of the Civil Code of the Philippines (Republic Act No. 386), that the Event is unable to proceed as scheduled. §6. Force Majeure. To the extent that the cancellation arises from fortuitous events or causes beyond the reasonable control of the Organiser within the meaning of Article 1174 of the Civil Code of the Philippines, the Organiser shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential or incidental loss; provided that the Organiser shall nonetheless honour the Refund as set out above.
§7. Governing Law and Venue. This notice and all matters arising therefrom shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any dispute arising herefrom shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the proper courts of ________, to the exclusion of all other venues.
