RE: NOTICE OF INTENTION TO ENTER THE DEMISED PREMISES AT ________
I write in my capacity as the Landlord (or duly authorised agent of the Landlord) of the property situate at and known as ________ (/we let to you under a Tenancy Agreement dated ________ (the “Demised Premises” and the “Tenancy Agreement” respectively).
§1. Notice of Entry
TAKE NOTICE that, in exercise of the right of entry reserved under the Tenancy Agreement and as permitted by law, I/we intend to enter the Demised Premises on ________ at ________ (or such other date and time as may be agreed between us).

§3. Period of Notice and Legal Basis
This Notice is given to you not less than the period of notice required under the Tenancy Agreement and the applicable tenancy law of ________, including (where applicable) the provisions of the relevant Tenancy/Recovery of Premises law of that State and the principles of the common law governing the relationship of landlord and tenant in Nigeria. The covenant for quiet enjoyment notwithstanding, the Landlord is entitled to enter the Demised Premises at reasonable times, upon reasonable notice, for the purposes stated in §2 above.
§5. Rescheduling
Should the proposed date or time stated in §1 be inconvenient to you, kindly contact me/us on or before ________ using the contact details set out above, so that a mutually convenient date and time may be arranged. In the event of an emergency affecting the safety of the Demised Premises or any person, the Landlord reserves the right to enter without prior notice in accordance with law.
§6. Tenant's Obligations Preserved
Nothing in this Notice shall be construed as a waiver of any of the rights, covenants or remedies of the Landlord under the Tenancy Agreement or at law, all of which are expressly reserved.
