1. I write in my capacity as the landlord (or as agent duly authorised on behalf of the landlord) in respect of the above Property, which is let to you under the terms of an Assured Shorthold Tenancy Agreement dated ________ (the "Tenancy Agreement"). This letter is sent without prejudice to my rights under the Tenancy Agreement and at law.
2. According to my records, and in accordance with the rent payment obligations set out in the Tenancy Agreement, the following sum of rent is now lawfully due, owing and unpaid:
2.1 Total rent arrears outstanding: £________;
2.2 The rent is payable at the rate of £________ per ________;
2.3 The amount referred to at paragraph 2.1 became due and payable on ________ and remains wholly unpaid as at the date of this letter.
3.
