Dear ________,
I trust this letter finds you well. I, ________, residing at ________, being your immediate neighbour, am addressing this letter to you in a spirit of good faith and neighbourly cooperation.
§ 1. Subject Matter. The purpose of this communication is to bring to your kind notice the persistent and excessive noise emanating from your aforesaid property, which has been causing substantial annoyance, discomfort and disturbance to me, my family and other neighbours residing adjacent to your premises.
§ 2. Nature of the Disturbance. The noise complained of is specifically attributable to the following:

I am confident that this matter can be resolved amicably between us without the need to involve the housing society, the resident welfare association, the local municipal authority, the police or any other concerned authority.
