1. Background

1.1 We write on behalf of ________ (the "Lessee") in relation to the lease dated ________ (the "Lease") between the Lessee and ________ (the "Lessor") in respect of the premises located at (the "Leased Property"):

3. The request

3.2 The Lessee requests that the full amount of the Deferred Rent be paid on or before ________, and that during the deferral period the Lessor agree to waive any late payment penalties, interest charges and any right to issue a notice of breach, take enforcement action, terminate the Lease or call upon any security or guarantee in respect of the Deferred Rent.

4. Continuing commitment

4.1 We confirm that the Lessee remains committed to honouring all of its obligations under the Lease and intends to pay the full amount of the rent owing on the date specified above.
