I am the tenant under the residential tenancy agreement dated ________ in respect of the premises located at ________ (the Premises), under which the agreed rent is ________ payable ________ (the Tenancy).

I am writing to formally request a ________ extension of the time within which I am required to pay the rent that falls due for the period commencing ________ and ending ________ (the Outstanding Rent), being the sum of ________.

I am making this request because I am presently experiencing financial hardship. In particular, I am dealing with the following circumstances:
