Prior to my move-in, I paid you a security deposit, of which the full amount is $________. As no damage was done to the property and all other conditions required for the return of the security deposit were met, I hereby request that you immediately mail the entire amount of the security deposit to the address listed at the head of this letter.
If I do not hear from you within the 60-day period required by Alabama Code § 35-9A-201, or if you fail to return my full security deposit or provide an itemized statement of any lawful deductions, I will not hesitate to take this matter to small claims court in Alabama.
