NOTICE OF TERMINATION OF EMPLOYMENT

RE: Termination of your Contract of Employment

§ 1. Reference to Contract of Employment

We refer to the written contract of employment between yourself and ________ (the “Company”) dated ________, by which you were employed in the position of ________ (the “Contract”), and to our meeting held on ________.

§ 2. Notice of Termination

2.1 In accordance with the provisions of section 11 of the Labour Act (Cap. L1, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria 2004) and the terms of the Contract, we hereby give you formal notice that your employment with the Company will terminate with effect from ________ (the “Termination Date”).

2.2 The notice period applicable to your employment is ________. Where the Company elects, in its discretion, to make payment in lieu of all or part of the said notice period in accordance with section 11(6) of the Labour Act, the sum payable in lieu of notice shall be ________.
