I refer to the residential tenancy agreement between us in respect of the above premises (the Premises), under which a rental bond of $________ was paid and lodged with NSW Fair Trading in accordance with section 159 of the Residential Tenancies Act 2010 (NSW).

1. Termination of the Tenancy

  1. The tenancy of the Premises ended and the Premises were vacated by me on ________.
  2. All keys, remote controls, security devices and other property belonging to you were returned on ________.
  3. My forwarding address for all future correspondence is ________.

2. Fulfilment of Tenant Obligations

  1. I confirm that all of my obligations as tenant under the residential tenancy agreement and the Residential Tenancies Act 2010 (NSW) have been fulfilled.
  2. No damage (other than fair wear and tear) has been caused to the Premises or its fixtures, fittings or inclusions.

3. Request for Return of the Bond

  1. As there is no lawful basis for any claim against the bond under section 162 of the Residential Tenancies Act 2010 (NSW), I request that the entire bond of $________ be returned to me in full.

4. Reservation of Rights
